Who am I ?

I am Ömer Günaydın, a fourth-year Computer Engineering student living in Turkey, and I have been working in Deep Learning and Computer Vision for the last three years. Last year, I worked remotely as a part-time Computer Vision Engineer. This year, I am spending more time learning different models.

I have tried nearly all areas of computer science and eventually found my path in computer vision. I am looking for different opportunities in both research and industry. For my résumé, do not hesitate to send an email.

I love the idea of accessing information on the internet for free with just a few clicks, and I try to contribute to this by sharing articles about computer vision and deep learning in general.

You can contact me via my personal email: siromermer@gmail.com

What is different in this website ?

This website is all about computer vision, but not like the usual ones. There are already documentations about OpenCV, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, so there is no need to explain how functions work or how to use these functions on an image.

What I try to do is briefly explain to you how the algorithm works, and how you can use this algorithm in different ways, not only by using a function and only displaying the output.

I also share pipelines for different deep learning models; only by looking at these pipelines, you can train any kind of model (Object Detection, Image Classification, Image Segmentation…) with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
